Free trial
Every new company starts with a 14-day free trial of the Growth plan. No card is needed, nothing is charged, and if you don't choose a plan your company simply becomes read-only when the trial ends. If you choose a plan during the trial, your remaining free days carry over and the first payment is taken when they end.
Cancelling
- An owner can cancel at any time in VEXEN: Billing → Manage billing → Cancel plan.
- Your plan keeps working until the end of the period you've paid for, and won't renew after that.
- Changed your mind before then? Renew from the same page and nothing is interrupted.
Refunds
- Monthly plans: no refunds for the current month; cancelling stops the next payment.
- Yearly plans: if you cancel within 14 days of your first yearly payment, we refund it in full. After that, there are no refunds for the rest of the year, and the plan runs until the year ends.
- Mistakes and problems: if you were charged by mistake, charged twice, or VEXEN didn't work as it should and we couldn't fix it, we'll put it right, including a refund where that's fair.
- Where the law gives you more rights than this, those rights apply.
To ask for a refund, email [email protected] from the account owner's address with your company name. Refunds go back to the card you paid with, usually within 5 to 10 business days.
Your data after cancelling
When a plan ends, your company becomes read-only: everyone can still sign in and see everything, and owners can download all the company's data (Settings → Company data), but nobody can make changes, and your website chat and client portal switch off. Nothing is deleted unless an owner closes the company. Choose a plan again at any time and everything works as before.
Closing the company (Settings → Company data → Close company) is different: it deletes all its data and files and ends the subscription straight away, without a refund for time left. Download your data first if you might need it.
Changing plans
Moving to a bigger plan applies straight away; you pay the difference for the time left in your billing period. Moving to a smaller plan also applies straight away, and the unused amount is credited against your next payments. To move to a plan with fewer users, remove people first.
